Mr. Brustkern is Chairman and Managing Director of Exvere Inc, an advisory firm specializing in mergers, acquisitions and Private Equity investments in selected business sectors.
Prior to forming Exvere, Mr. Brustkern was CEO of several manufacturing firms; headed a major division of a Fortune 500 company; created and sold a successful international joint venture and sponsored several technology startups. His experience across a variety of business experiences led to the formation of Exvere in 1991.
Mr. Brustkern received a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound followed by an MBA from Gonzaga University. He is a frequent speaker at local university leadership classes and was honored by the University of Puget Sound School of business in 1998 as its “outstanding alumni”.
A lifelong resident of Washington State, Mr. Brustkern is a member of YPO/WPO (past chair) and has served as director of numerous public and private companies in the Pacific Northwest. His interests include travel, golf, wine collecting, his family, and his prized 1968 Mustang Convertible.
